ABOUT

Custom Aquatic Therapy truly customizes your treatment for you and your specific needs. CAT does not accept insurance, which allows you and your therapist to dictate your treatment plan. Since CAT does not accept insurance:

  • you and your therapist will decide when and for how long you will receive aquatic treatments.

  • you will receive 55 minutes of one-on-one treatment time with a licensed therapist for each visit.

  • you and your therapist will decide when it is time for you to discharge from treatments.

Custom Aquatic Therapy puts the control of your healing in your hands, not your insurance company's.

Aquatic Physical Therapy

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your healing begins with an initial evaluation with a licensed Physical Therapist, who will listen to your needs and develop a treatment plan with you that may include aquatic treatments as well as a land home exercise program. After the initial eval, your follow up treatments will be in the pool.

Your treatments are specifically designed for you. You may or may not be asked to float on your back, stand in chest deep water, or walk in waist deep water.  You are not expected to know how to swim and the therapist will work with you in your comfort area. Floatation devices are provided and used quite a bit to obtain optimal positioning for treatments.
